Seiko Limited Warranty
The first year is a worldwide warranty. The second and third years are only valid for service in the United States.  This warranty will be voided if your watch is serviced by someone other than Seiko.

Seiko warrants that if the Seiko watch described on your enclosed Certificate of Limited Warranty proves, on presentation by you within three years from the date of original retail purchase, to be defective in regards to materials or workmanship and provided the watch was purchased from an authorized Seiko dealer, Seiko will, at their option, regulate, adjust, or repair or replace parts or movement, without charge to you, subject to the following limits and exclusions:

Important:
1. To obtain service during the first year of the warranty, you must present or send your watch together with the Certificate of Limited Warranty (which must be properly filled in by the authorized Seiko dealer with the indicated information at the time of purchase) to any of the organizations in the Seiko worldwide service network listed on pages 30 through 38 of the Limited Warranty booklet. To obtain service after the first year of the warranty, you must present or send your watch together with the properly filled in Certificate of Limited Warranty, as noted above, to one of the service locations in the United States listed on page 34 of the booklet.

2. The limited three-year warranty and remedy set forth above is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability and warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and all other remedies, obligations or liabilities on the part of Seiko.

3. In addition, Seiko hereby disclaims liability for indirect, special and consequential damages for a breach of any express or implied warranty, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to this watch.

4. The duration of any implied warranty which might exist by operation of law shall be limited to three years from the date of the original retail purchase.

5. This warranty does not cover the watch bracelet, strap, crystal, glass, battery, or any watch accessories, including, but not limited to, any pouch or belt attached to the watch.

6. This warranty does not apply to damage while in the possession of the consumer not resulting, in Seiko's sole opinion, from a defect in material or workmanship.

7. This warranty does not apply to damage caused, in Seiko's sole opinion, by tampering with or opening the watch or by other than normal use or defects or damage resulting from repairs performed other than by an authorized service facility listed in the warranty booklet.

8. This warranty does not cover water damage unless your watch is designated as being water resistant.

9. This warranty does not cover scratches on the case caused by use.

10. Photocopies of Certificates of Limited Warranty or Certificates of Limited Warranty which have been altered or tampered with will not be honored.

11. All postage, insurance and shipping costs incurred in presenting or sending the watch to the service facility are your responsibility. In some jurisdictions outside the United States, a service fee may be charged. To find out the service fee outside the United States, if any, contact the service facility to which you will present or send the watch.

Your warranty is transferable. Some states of the United States and some jurisdictions outside the United States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damage or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so the above exclusion or limitation may not apply to you.
