Choosing a Graduation Gift
Someone you know is donning a cap and gown and doing the diploma dance. They may be graduating from high school, college or an MBA program. For any type of graduation, jewelry is the one gift they'll continue to appreciate long after their student loans have been paid off.
While practically any gift of jewelry is appropriate, there are some classic graduation gifts that fall under the heading of "You Can't Go Wrong."
For Her
Classics like a diamond solitaire necklace and diamond earrings go with everything. Let's face it, practically anything with diamonds will go over well. Cultured pearls are also a traditional gift…and they're timeless, so there's no danger of them gathering dust in anyone's jewelry box.
For Him
A basic gold chain is a great idea. Or a gold bracelet. Or both. If he's headed up the executive ladder, consider a money clip or cuff links.
For Both
You want them to be on time for their first day on the job. (Or their first day at college.) Watches are both practical and fashionable. And by choosing a reliable brand like Movado, Citizen, and Bulova, there's never an excuse for being late.
Sending someone into the world without the right jewelry is like sending them out unprepared. And you would never do that to your favorite graduate!
